I love June. The last month of school & realizing just how much the Princess has grown this year. Watching the Rugrat discover spring...beetles, bees, flys, ladybugs. Having the kids on our street gather at night to play outside in the fresh air. I love the echo of their laughter in the wind. Their giggles as they run through the sprinkler. I love having the windows open in the house & feeling the fresh breeze & the smell of spring throughout the house.
Our lives have gotten busier lately with the Princess taking 2 dance classes per week, both her & the Rugrat playing soccer (you should see him...hil.a.ri.ous.) Daddy working those crazy shifts still & Mommy working on opening her own business & delighting in the crafts showcased by others. But the lazy, hazy days of June make the most hectic of times seem easy. Of course, it's the ease of no snow, bundling up in 40 layers of clothing...certainly that helps. But everything at this time of year just seems more "laisez faire" & I'm loving it.
Here are a few things I'm working on at the moment:

I apologize to whichever blog posted the amazing Wordle(.net) teacher gift but it's cool & I'm doing it! Will post pics of finished products!
